Two loose wheels from an 18-wheeler killed a man on a motorcycle.
Tuesday, October 31st, 2017
Brady Burger was driving his motorcycle southbound on I-35 at around 1:45 p.m. when a set of dual wheels from an 18-wheeler detached from a trailer. The wheels then jumped over the concrete barrier striking Brady on his motorcycle, fatally injuring him. The wheels also hit a Toyota Camry causing damage but no injury to the passengers.
The driver of the semi was interviewed and the wreck is currently under investigation.

Commentary
The loss of human life is tragic and often avoidable. A man has died, and there needs to be a thorough investigation to find out the cause of the initial mechanical malfunction. Working wheels, that are in good repair, and attached correctly, do not typically fall off an 18-wheeler. It is possible that better maintenance or better company policies could have prevented this accident from ever happening.
In cases like this I strongly advise the loved ones left behind hire a board certified personal injury attorney. Big trucking companies have lots of resources to protect themselves after an wreck, and you need an experienced attorney to level the playing field and fight for you.
